Win XP: HP pavilion Dv6130 laptop on/off button and loudspeaker do not work anym

Have a HP pavilion DV 6130 laptopcomputer from end of 2006. Upgraded to Vista. Since then no more on/off button and no more loudspeakers. have deleted Vista, erased the hard disk with kill disk" and reinstalled XP. Problem still exists.

What is the problem.Can I fix it. Will appreciate answers.
