Debian: Bootet sehr langsam (Futro S 210)

Hallo,

ich besitze einen Futro S 210 mit eine CF card 4GB und 512er Arbeitsspeicher.

Wollte Debian 6 drauf machen, die Installation hat funktioniert bis zum ende nur nach einem Neustart hat er nicht mehr ganz hochgebootet.
So der zweite ear Debian 5 zu Installieren das ging dann auch und bootet auch, nur bis der Rechner hochgefahren ist dauert es Mindestens 15 min.

Ist das normal ? Vermute da ist ein Fehler im Bootvorgang.

Kenne mich 0 aus und freue mich über jede Hilfe.
Falls ihr irgendwelche angaben noch braucht einfach fragen bitte.

schau mal in die Datei /var/log/boot ob da ein Fehler protokolliert ist.

folgender Text wird dann von “No” auf “Yes” umgeschrieben:

# Run bootlogd at startup ?
BOOTLOGD_ENABLE=Yes


Habe das oben erstmal gemacht, bin nun in diesem Menü und hab es auf yes geändert.

Kann es aber nicht speicher und beenden was muss ich drücken ? US Tastatur hab ich

Suche gerade wie verückt im verlauf was ich gemacht habe und finde die seite nicht mehr.

Hab glaub ich "vi" vorher eingetipt

vi /etc/default/bootlogd

Bei vi:

zum Einfügen / Schreiben die Einfügen(Insert-) Taste drücken
dann kannst du Ändern/Schreiben

Wenn fertig nacheinander zum Speichern drücken:
ESC   
:      (Doppelpunkt)
w
q

Wenn Du die Änderung nicht speichern willst:
ESC   
:      (Doppelpunkt)
q
!      (Ausrufezeichen)

Wenn Du eine US-Tastatur hast, entsprechend umrechnen.


 

Danke erstmal für die Hilfe
der editor hat sich aufgehängt als ich vor dem Fragen selbst probiert habe sämtliche tasten zu drücken.

Also nun ein neustart, dann alles neu eintippen und wieder ein neustart machen.

Bei dem zügigen bootvorgang denke ich nicht das ich heut nochmal poste, eher Morgen.

Wenn Du bei vi in einen anderen Modus kommst, wo Du nicht weiterweisst oder irgendwas gedrückt hast, was Du eigentlich nicht wolltest - mit:

ESC
ESC   
:      (Doppelpunkt)
q
!      (Ausrufezeichen)

kommst Du ohne Speichern immer wieder raus

vi sieht auf den ersten Blick zwar spartanisch aus, ist aber sehr leistungsfähig und hat dadurch seine "Tücken"  ;D

Das sieht eigentl. ganz gut aus.

Links neben dem Y, womit du auch die Zeichen < und > eintippst. Mit ALTGR machst du auf dieser Taste die Pipe |

wenn ich das drücke kommt so eine art doppelpunkt aber mit zwei langgezogenen strichen.

Hab es doch geschafft durch ein update debian6 drauf zu bekommen was ich ursprünglich wollte siehe post 1.
Jetzt braucht er über eine Stunde zum hochfahren ?
Findet er sein einstiegspunkt nicht ?

Lost interrrupt, READ DMA failed!
Diese Fehler sind mit jetzt ins Auge gesprungen.
Ich weiß jetzt nicht, ob das prinzipiell an deinem Rechnersystem oder an der CF-Card liegt. Kann in deinem Futro S 210 eine stinknormale Festplatte eingebaut werden? Vllt kannst du die Installation von Debian mal darauf testen.

Hallo

ja man kann eine HDD anschliessen.
Habe momentan keine andere platte, muss ich kaufen.

Die CF card im Rechner ist neu gewesen hatte ich extra gekauft für den futro.

Der eingebaute CF-Cardslot kann kein DMA und ist deswegen extrem langsam. Hinzu kommt, dass das Linux einige Zeit braucht, um das zu erkennen. Ich verwende in meinem Futro einen UDMA kompatiblen CF-IDE Adapter an der IDE Schnittstelle. hdparm benchmark ~30MB/s
