Suse: 9.2: Konqueror Problem

Hallo,

der Konqueror ist elemantarer Bestandteil von KDE und ist im Paket KDE-Base gespeichert( ohne das mit KDE nichts geht ). Die Konqueror funktioniert bestimmt einwandfrei. Dein Problem ist anderswo zu suchen, %u ist eine Variable in der Mimetypenkonfiguration ( Dateizuordnungen ) über die Hilfsprogramme aufgerufen werden. Entweder hast Du an den Dateizuordnungen gespielt oder die Hilfsapplikation ist nicht, oder nicht mehr da. Da Du in Deiner Fehlerbeschreibung keine genaue Angabe machst kann ich auch keine präzise Antwort geben. Vielleicht hilft der Hinweis ja schon.

Testen kannst du ob es an den Dateizuordnungen liegt, wenn Du dich als anderer Benutzer einloggst und die Funktion ausführst. Die KDE-Dateizuordnungen werden Anwenderbezogen gespeichert, im Homeverzeichnis des jeweiligen Users und nicht global für alle User.  Funktioniert es da auch nicht fehlt das Hilfsprogramm.

daran hab ich auch schon gedahct... habe im Control Center - > KDE-Komponenten -> Dateizuordnungen -> text -> html den Firefox zugefügt, damit er die links nimmt... Der Konqueror steht aber noch drin und wenn ich die rangfolge ändere besteht das selbe problem...
auch den Firefox darauf zu löschen bringt nix, immer noch die selbe meldung...

Allerdings kann root mit dem Konqueror arbeiten.
Hab mir die Einstellungen im Control Center angeschaut und habe keine Unterschiede festgestellt...

der Rootaccount ist deine Rettung. Suche im Verzeichnis root nach der Datei .mime.types und kopiere sie in dein Homeverzeichnis.

Nun gibt noch ein Problemchen. Die Datei gehört root un nicht J dem User. Musst Du ändern. Öffne eine Konsole und tippe ein

chown username .mime.types    ENTER
               ^    ^
               Punkte, nicht vergessen einzugeben ( ist ne versteckte Datei.)

Nach der Änderung kurz abmelden ( Sitzung beenden ) und erneut anmelden.

So nun sollte es wieder funktionieren.

Tja, die Idee wäre supi aber...
wie man sieht gibt es die Datei .mime.types nur einmal und zar in meinem Home... root scheint keines zu haben... :-(

die Datei .mime.types   ist eine versteckte Datei im Hauptpfad des jeweiligen Users und wird vom System automatisch erzeugt wenn Du dich als User oder auch root das erste mal anmeldest, ist somit vorhanden. Da es eine versteckte Datei ist, wird sie normaler Weise nicht angezeigt. Wenn Du den Konqueror als Dateimanager benutzt, musst Du ihn so konfigurieren dass er die versteckten Dateien auch anzeigt.Starte den Konqueror im Dateimanagermodus und klicke auf ->Ansicht -> versteckte Dateien anzeigen. Nun kannst du den Tipp von gestern umsetzen.

Hab das grad probiert... auch dort ist diese Datei nicht vorhanden... Wer legt die denn an? der Konqueror beim start? ich mein, irgendwer muss die ja anlegen...

man lernt nie aus. Hab mal gerade bei einer SuSE 9.2 Installation nachgeschaut und siehe da, im Rootverzeichnis ist keine .mime.types Datei mehr, im Gegensatz zu 9.1. Der Weg über einen neuen Benutzer dürfte gehen.

Emailadresse: Klar vorhanden, wird aus bestimmten Gründen nicht verraten.

Hab mir die mal angeschaut, sieht so aus als wenn der Konqueror das tut...
Meine wurde meiner Meinung nach auch nicht angelegt als ich Suse installiert habe...

Also habe jetzt unter /etc eine mime.types gefunden... ist aber keine versteckte und die sieht gaaanz anders aus als mein ...

interessantes Ding. Irgendwas hat sich geändert. Hab nun selbst mal einen neuen User angelegt. Ergebnis: keine .mime.types Datei. Dateizuordnungen geändert, selbes Ergebnis. Wo ist sie geblieben ?

Merkwürdiger Weise gibts aber bei einem anderen user die Datei .mime.types. ,wie bei 9.1 auch. Wie das zusammenhängt ??? Gilt es rauszufinden.

auch das Paket wo der Konqueror enthalten ist ist ja blöd einmal komplett zu löschen und dann zu installieren...
