Suse: Allgemeine frage zur Installation von SUSE

Von "Grafisches Grundsystem" bis "Multimedia" Alles!


 

Denn ich habe das Gefühl das wenn ich ein Update mache sich was Beisst und es haut nix mehr hin. Habe schon mehrfach ein Update gemacht und es lief nix mehr. Da blieb mir nur die Neuinstallation. Oder kann es etwas mit dem KDE Update zu tun haben.

Ich wähle bei allen Punkten beim KDE update auf der rechten Hälfte -> re Maustaste Alles an, was man updaten kann(Wenn neuer verfügbar!) Nicht nur die KDE Pakete!

Dann war der Download auch entscheidend größer, als nur bei KDE!
Vorher habe ich das System immer über YOU update auf den neuesten Stand gebracht!

Genau das ist das Problem wenn ich das YOU Update gemacht habe und danach einen Neustart dann haut nix mehr hin und  die Kiste fährt nicht zu ende oder garnicht hoch. Wenn es geklappt hat dann Friert mir unter KDE das bild ein und es geht nix mehr.
Habe jetzt eine Neuinstallation hinter mir und überlege ob ich updaten soll oder nicht. Wenn ja was zuerst KDE dann YOU oder andersrum. Und sollte ich zwischen den Updates ein  Neustart machen oder nicht.

P.S. habe eine Zweite Platte im Rechner und würde gern eine Sicherung von der Suse machen was muss ich sichern damit ich das sytem wieder Starten kann. Bei Windows gibt es ja ein Wiederherstellungspunkt kann ich das bei Suse auch machen.
Wenn ja was muss ich ssichern damit es klappt

Erst YOU , dann KDE update!! Immer neu starten-beim You update wird ja auch ein Kernel update gemacht -daher auf jeden Fall neu booten!!

Habe mit Sicherungen unter Linux keine Erfahrung!
Wiederherstellungspunkt gibt es keinen!

Das Problem ist wenn ich ein YOU update mache dann kommen die Probleme die ich oben beschrieben habe. ICh mache jetzt mal ein YOU Update und dann werde ich es sehen ob es Klappt wenn nicht dann muss ich wohl alles wieder Neuinstallen. Ich weiss bloss nicht was den Fehler verursacht.

So ich habe nun ein You Update vollzogen und mache nun ein Neustart wenn es klappt bin ich froh ansonsten werde ich langsam Sauer.

Aber Du hast KDE 3.3 vorher schon drauf gehabt??  ???

Nein hatte ich nicht habe ja neu installt und nun habe ich wieder das Problem. Suse fährt nicht richtig hoch, und wenn ich beim Hochfahren F2 drücke rattern nur so die Zahlen durch sieht aus wie das Matrix logo.
Was kann das nur sein ist es vieleicht der Kernel der mir das System Zerschießt ich weiss nicht mehr weiter bin jetzt mit dem Rechner von meinem Sohn Online da meiner ja nicht funzt.
Ach ja wenn das Hochfahren nach Netzstecker und 5sec warten wieder geklappt hat dann friert mir alles ein kann ein Prog starten aber dann geht nix mehr. Die maus kann ich noch bewegen aber das wars dann auich schon.

Hat einer einen Tip für mich ich weiss nicht mehr was ich noch machen soll vieleicht du H2O2

Nein was kann ich denn nachsehen soll ich mir die mal kopieren und hier posten.

So wieder da habe das Installierte Sytem mit der CD gestartet und es geht. Ich habe mir dann die boot.msg angeschaut aber aus der werde ich nicht schlau hier die boot.msg :

Hm wie macht man das? Hab es Versucht und es ging nicht.

Also wie ist es Du hast Suse9.1 ganz neu installiert und dann KDE 3.3.3 auch wieder installiert und es ist das selbe wie zuvor?
