Habe 2 Betriebssysteme Ubuntu Windows Xp wie mache ich das Xp startet?(Aktuell startet Ubuntu nach 10 sek ich wills halt anders rum?)Bitte eine leichte erklärung da ich nicht Profi in sachen bin. ::);)

Bei mir funktionieren Alt + F2 nicht ??? Kann ich das auch anders machen?

Die Datei grub.conf bzw menu.lst lokalisieren!
befindet sich unter
/boot/grub

Poste vorher zur Sicherheit den Inhalt der Datei (grub.conf/menu.lst)

Dann in dieser Datei (grub.conf/menu.lst)
der Wert
 default=
lokalisieren
und den Wert auf  1
ändern!

um die datei zu ändern benötigst du rootrechte

Dann in dieser Datei (grub.conf/menu.lst)
der Wert
  default=
lokalisieren
und den Wert auf   4
ändern!

Wo kriege ich denn die Rootrechte her? :o ???

Einfach bei google " Startup Manager " eingeben oder bei www.ubuntuusers.de runterladen, installieren, und die Bootreihenfolge einstellen.
Ganz einfach

Fast wie bei Windows   ;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D

Nur so ne Frage wie heißt der Ordner und das Start datei unter Ubuntu gibts ja keine exe. ???   Boah ich verstehes nicht.So einfach scheit das doch nicht zu sein wie ich dachte ::)

***mademobile***Arbeitest du da mit einer Konsole (bashshell)? Wenn ja: Ausführbare Dateien sind unter Linux endungslos. Also zum aufrufen einfach ./[Anwendungsname]

Das ./ steht für das aktuelle Verzeichniss.


1. Möglichkeit:
Mit yast2(SuSe) oder dem Systemmanager die Booteinstellungen ändern (Windows auf Standard setzen.)

Wenn nicht möglich:
2. Möglichkeit: Von Windows XP-CD starten, dann in die "Wiederherstellungskonsole" (R drücken), 1 drücken, ggf. Adminkennwort eingeben.
Jetzt fixboot und fixmbr eingeben, bei beiden mit j bestätigen.
Mit Bootmanager Linux starten (oft F12), dann GRUB neu installieren.

bevor das du Grub mir der Wiederherstellungskonsole von Windows zum Teufel schiesst, würde ich erste mal diese Artikel lesen.

Falsch.

Dann kann man GRUB neu einstellen.

Ist aber ja auch nur die Ausweichmethode.
